Overview

racksbet.com calls itself "Racksbet: Most Popular Online Crypto Casino Based on Blockchain." PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling site aimed at people who bet with cryptocurrency. We first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its casino content, so new players can still land on it and fund an account.

How the scam works

The site runs on the Gambler Scam kit, a template for fake casinos. These sites look like real betting platforms, with games, bonuses and a balance that grows as you play. The "blockchain casino" pitch in the page title is meant to make crypto deposits feel normal and safe. In this type of scheme, every deposit goes straight to the operators. When a player tries to cash out, the site invents obstacles such as verification deposits, taxes or unlock fees. Each payment toward those obstacles is lost as well, and the displayed winnings never existed.

Evidence

When checked on 2026-09-18, 10 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and tagged the page as a cryptoscam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain, which shows other researchers are tracking it too.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-09 through Fewmoretaps OU (Trustname.com), about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the operators had time to build the site and start drawing in players before it was flagged. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the visible address geolocated to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a proxy, that address does not reveal where the backend server actually runs.

What to do

If you hold a balance on racksbet.com, stop depositing. Do not pay any fee, tax or verification charge demanded before a withdrawal, because those payments are part of the theft. Save your transaction hashes, deposit addresses and chat logs. Report the transfers to the exchange you sent funds from and to your local police or cybercrime unit. Ignore anyone who offers to recover your funds for an upfront payment, since that is a common follow-up scam. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and treat its Spamhaus DBL listing as a reliable signal for filtering.
