qutikuy.com is a phishing site that PhishDestroy classifies as impersonation: it poses as a legitimate service to win the trust of crypto users. We first detected it on 2026-09-19. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content, so anyone who lands on it today can still be exposed.
How the scam works
The page presents itself under the bland title "Home - qutikuy", which names no recognisable brand, while our classification is impersonation phishing. Sites of this kind copy the look, wording or claimed identity of a trusted platform and then ask the visitor to do something only the real service should ask for. That usually means typing an account password or recovery phrase, connecting a wallet, or sending a deposit. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operators, who use it to take over accounts or empty wallets.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The detecting vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors, not a single outlier. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-03-17, about six months before we caught it. A domain held that long before detection was either built up quietly or reused for this campaign. Its traffic is routed through Cloudflare, with the address resolving to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden behind the proxy. It carries a free Let's Encrypt certificate, which means the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site can be trusted.
What to do
If you typed a password on qutikuy.com, change it on the genuine service right away. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you entered a seed phrase or connected a wallet, treat that wallet as compromised: revoke any token approvals it granted, then move your remaining assets to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase. Do not send further payments the site requests, whatever reason it gives. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and check logs for visits since 2026-09-19. Abuse reports can go to Namecheap and Cloudflare.
