PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

pczh-okx.com.cn impersonates OKX, using the exchange's Chinese brand name 欧易 to appear official to Chinese-speaking traders. Its page title, 欧易okx电脑手机端一体化 ("OKX all-in-one for PC and mobile"), presents it as an official download or login hub. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-13. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Fake "PC and mobile client" pages follow a familiar pattern. They borrow OKX branding and push visitors to log in or install what looks like the official app. Anything typed into the page, such as account passwords, 2FA codes or wallet recovery phrases, goes to the operators, who can then empty the exchange account or wallet. A downloaded "client" from a page like this can be a modified app built to capture the same secrets.

Evidence

Nine of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-17. Vendors flagging it include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Lionic, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a modest count, but these are independent vendors reaching the same verdict. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized OKX branding on it. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists and appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-10 through 北京新网数码信息技术有限公司 (Xinnet), just three days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of lookalike domains set up for a quick campaign. The site is hosted in Hong Kong on the OWGELS INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED network. It uses a TrustAsia LiteSSL certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you logged in through this page, change your OKX password from the official app or site right away. Reset your 2FA, review active sessions and API keys, and lock down your withdrawal address whitelist. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move the funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you installed a client from this site, uninstall it, scan the device, and get the app again only from OKX's official channels or a trusted app store. Defenders should block the domain, watch for other OKX lookalikes under .com.cn, and report sightings to OKX and the blocklists above.

How do phishing scams typically work?
