PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

pc-trezorsuite.org is a phishing domain that impersonates Trezor. Its name pairs "pc" with "trezorsuite" to look like the official desktop download for Trezor Suite, the app owners use to manage their hardware wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.

How the scam works

Domains built around "Trezor Suite" typically catch people searching for the wallet software. They then serve a counterfeit installer or a fake setup screen that asks for the wallet's recovery seed. Anyone who types those 12 to 24 words into a fake app or web form gives the attacker full control of every coin the seed protects, and the hardware device no longer offers any protection. The page title, "Suite Studios - Cloud Storage With File Streaming", describes a cloud storage service rather than Trezor, while we classify the domain as Trezor impersonation.

Evidence

On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed 6 of 92 engines flagging the domain: BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. That is a small share, so many browsers and security tools may still let it load without a warning. The domain is listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists in addition to PhishDestroy, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-06 through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu, just three days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a domain set up for a quick campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335) on US-located addresses, so the real origin server is hidden. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, which means the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered your Trezor recovery seed on this site or in software downloaded from it, treat the wallet as compromised. Reset a genuine Trezor with a new seed and move your funds to it immediately. If you installed anything from the domain, uninstall it, run a full malware scan, and download Trezor Suite only from Trezor's official site. Never type your seed into any computer, website or app. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, report it to Cloudflare and Registrar.eu, and watch for similar "trezorsuite" lookalike registrations.
