PhishDestroy has identified meritunionbank.com as a sophisticated banking phishing site designed to steal login credentials and personal financial information. The site impersonates Merit Union Bank, a real financial institution, tricking visitors into entering their usernames, passwords, and possibly other sensitive data under the guise of a legitimate online banking portal. This type of credential theft can lead to unauthorized access to bank accounts, fraudulent transactions, and identity theft.
