PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

live-ledgrr-us.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page. Its name mimics Ledger Live through the misspelling "ledgrr" and a regional "us" tag, which points at Ledger hardware wallet owners. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. It has been offline since 2026-09-16, and on our last check on 2026-10-19 the hosting provider was still blocking its content.

How the scam works

Pages that imitate Ledger Live usually show a fake update, sync or security warning. They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase or to install a counterfeit app. Anyone who has the recovery phrase controls every account the device protects, so the attacker can empty the wallet without ever touching the hardware. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning screen rather than the original lure, while we classify the site as Ledger impersonation.

Evidence

14 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-18, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a solid group of independent vendors for a short-lived throwaway page. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Its brand match points to Cloudflare because the scan captured the warning screen. Besides PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists also carry the domain, so many wallet users were already shielded from it.

Infrastructure

The site was a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, served from Cloudflare, Inc. address space in Canada. Pages like this cost nothing and take minutes to deploy, so operators can replace them as soon as one is blocked. Expect the same lure to reappear under new pages.dev names with similar misspellings. This page went dark eight days after we first saw it.

What to do

If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new phrase on a reset device and move any remaining funds to it right away. If you installed software it offered, remove it and scan the computer before you use any wallet again. If you connected a browser wallet, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase online. Defenders should block this hostname and watch for lookalike Ledger spellings on pages.dev and other free hosting platforms.
