PhishDestroy threat report
lenslab.co.uk presents itself as Lens Lab, a marketplace where photographers can hire, swap, buy and sell gear. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at camera owners and buyers looking for a trusted place to trade equipment. We first saw it on 2026-09-13, and the site was still live with content served when last checked on 2026-10-19. The page title describes a legitimate-sounding photography exchange, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Impersonation pages borrow the look and promise of a real service, in this case "Something new in photography... Hire, swap, buy, sell, enjoy!", to make visitors comfortable handing over details. A gear marketplace is an effective lure because users expect to register, list valuable equipment, and enter payment or delivery information. Victims can lose account credentials, personal and card data, money paid for rentals or purchases that never arrive, or equipment shipped to a buyer who is not real.
On 2026-09-21, 9 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Named vendors include alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Lionic, Seclookup and SOCRadar, a spread of independent web-filtering and threat-intel sources rather than a single feed. The domain is also referenced in 5 AlienVault OTX pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Most engines still pass it, so many browsers and filters will not warn visitors.
The domain was registered on 2014-09-15 through One.com A/S, about twelve years before PhishDestroy detected it. That age suggests a long-standing name that is now serving phishing content, and it can help the site slip past filters that distrust new domains. It is hosted on One.com A/S infrastructure in Denmark and uses a Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
If you created an account here, change that password and any account where you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card or bank details or paid for gear, contact your bank to dispute the charge and block the card, and keep every message and receipt. Do not ship equipment to anyone you met through this site. Watch for follow-up emails or calls that cite your listing or order. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, search mail and proxy logs for user contact with it, and report it to the registrar and host for takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
