ledgr--live--start.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page hosted as a project on Cloudflare's free Pages platform. It uses Cloudflare branding, and its hostname spells out "ledgr live start", a misspelled echo of a hardware-wallet companion app that points at crypto holders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and the hosting provider was still blocking its content when we last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Pages like this rely on borrowed trust. The free pages.dev subdomain and familiar Cloudflare branding make the site look legitimate, while the wallet-flavoured hostname is built to catch people searching for setup or download help. Schemes of this type usually walk visitors through a fake "start" or verification flow that ends by asking for a wallet recovery phrase or a wallet connection, and either one gives the operator control of the funds. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning banner rather than the original lure. We classify the domain as brand impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 14 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Those vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, a spread of independent engines rather than a single outlier. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to generic Cloudflare branding. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, two lists maintained specifically to protect crypto users.
Infrastructure
The pages.dev project was set up on 2026-08-07, about a month before PhishDestroy detected it, so the lure had several weeks to collect visitors. Cloudflare Pages acts as the registrar, and the site resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. address space geolocated to Canada. The operator never had to buy a domain, because free hosting subdomains let these campaigns launch fast and be replaced just as quickly. Cloudflare's own enforcement is what took this one offline.
What to do
If you typed a recovery phrase into this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Move any remaining assets to a new wallet with a freshly generated phrase, and do not reuse the old one. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognise. No legitimate wallet app or Cloudflare page will ever ask for your seed phrase. Defenders should block the hostname, watch for similar "ledgr" or "live start" subdomains on pages.dev, and report fresh lookalikes to the hosting provider for takedown.
