ledger-live-eng-en.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page posing as Ledger. The "eng-en" suffix is styled to look like an official English-language Ledger Live portal. It targets owners of Ledger hardware wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-17, and the hosting provider was still blocking its content when we last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live pages usually claim the visitor must update firmware, restore the app or verify the device. They then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase, or push a fake Ledger Live download that requests it. Ledger never asks for this phrase online. Anyone who has it can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty every account it controls. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen rather than Ledger-branded content. That is why urlscan.io matched it to a generic Cloudflare page instead of Ledger, even though we classify it as Ledger impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, VirusTotal showed 14 of 89 security engines flagging the domain. Detections came from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. These are independent vendors reaching the same conclusion. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, so wallet users with those protections are warned before the page loads.
Infrastructure
The page ran on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain, which costs nothing and can be swapped out quickly once blocked. It was created on 2026-08-19, about three weeks before PhishDestroy caught it. It went dark nine days after that. Traffic was served through Cloudflare's network from an address geolocated to Canada.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase on this site, treat it as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a reset device, and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you downloaded software from it, uninstall it, run a malware scan, and get Ledger Live only from Ledger's official site. If you connected a software wallet, check for and revoke any token approvals you don't recognize. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar Ledger-themed subdomains on free hosting services.
