PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

home-live-x-ledgre.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page. Its subdomain misspells Ledger as "ledgre" and pairs it with "home-live", which echoes the Ledger Live app. That combination points at owners of Ledger hardware wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-01. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and on our last check, 2026-10-19, it was still blocked by its hosting provider.

How the scam works

Fake Ledger Live pages usually claim the user must sync, update or verify a device, then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and the theft cannot be reversed. A genuine Ledger product never asks for the recovery phrase on a website. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's warning screen, not the original Ledger-themed content we classified.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the page malicious. Its only brand match, a generic Cloudflare one, reflects the warning screen that replaced the original content. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so three separate crypto-security blocklists agree. VirusTotal showed 0 detections out of 89 engines on 2026-09-12. That check came a day after the page went offline, so the clean result says little about what the site served while it was live.

Infrastructure

The site runs on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain rather than a registered domain. That lets an operator publish a branded lure in minutes without buying a name. The IP sits on Cloudflare's network and geolocates to Canada. Cloudflare's own block is what took the content offline.

What to do

If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase on your device and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you connected a software wallet, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize. Be wary of follow-up "Ledger support" messages offering recovery, because they are a common second-stage scam. Defenders should block this specific hostname, not the whole Cloudflare Pages domain. They should also watch for similar subdomains combining "live" with misspellings of Ledger.
