globaltronlink.com presents itself as "GlobalTronLink — The World's Most Powerful Crypto Wallet," a fake wallet platform designed to steal recovery phrases from cryptocurrency users. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-09-19, and as of 2026-10-18 the site remains fully live and serving malicious content. It targets anyone searching for a Tron-compatible wallet or following links distributed through social media, messaging apps, or phishing emails.

How the scam works

The site mimics a legitimate crypto wallet interface to convince visitors they are setting up or recovering a real wallet. At some point in the flow — typically during an "import wallet" or "restore access" step — the page prompts the user to enter their 12- or 24-word seed phrase. Once submitted, that phrase is sent directly to the attackers, who can then import the victim's wallet on their own device and drain every asset it holds. Because a seed phrase grants unconditional access to a wallet, there is no way to reverse the theft or recover funds once the phrase is captured.
