PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

PhishDestroy’s automated assessment classifies ghexu.cc as an impersonation phishing page. The page title captured on 2026-10-21 reads “AliExpress”. The domain was first seen by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-21 and returned an HTTP 200 response at that time.

How the scam works

Impersonation phishing sites copy the look and wording of a legitimate brand’s login or checkout pages to trick users into submitting their credentials or personal data. Victims who enter such information may have their accounts compromised or be used for further fraud.

Evidence

VirusTotal reported 13 detections from 92 engines on 2026-10-21, with 11 classified as malicious and 2 as suspicious. Google Safe Browsing checked the domain on the same day and did not flag it. urlscan.io captured the site on 2026-10-21 and gave a malicious verdict with a score of 100, labeling it as phishing targeting AliExpress. OpenPhish lists ghexu.cc on its blocklist, and PhishDestroy’s internal blocklist also contains the domain; OTX shows four related pulses as of 2026-10-21.
