PhishDestroy threat report
fortycheck.com is an impersonation phishing page. It presents itself under the bland name "Fortycheck" while copying the look of a legitimate service so visitors trust it with their details. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so anyone following a link to it today can still reach the live page.
Impersonation pages work by borrowing credibility. The visitor sees a familiar layout, logo or workflow and assumes they are dealing with the real company. The "Fortycheck" title names no recognizable brand, so the deception relies on the page design and the message that brought the victim there, not on a famous name. Whatever the victim types into the forms goes to the operators. That can include account passwords, one-time codes, personal identity details or payment information, and the operators then use it to take over accounts or move money.
On 2026-10-18, 4 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, which means most browser and antivirus protections will not yet warn visitors. The domain also appears in 2 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have independently tied it to malicious activity. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. PhishDestroy caught it 27 days later, a short gap that fits a site set up quickly for a campaign. It resolves to 109.238.87.170 on the SERVER-MANIA (B2 Net Solutions Inc.) network, a Canadian provider, with the server located in the US. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate shows the padlock icon in the browser, but that icon only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
If you entered a password on fortycheck.com, change it at once on the real service and on any account that uses the same password. Turn on app-based 2FA, and check your recent logins and account settings for changes you did not make. If you entered card or bank details, call your bank to block the card and dispute any charges. If you typed in a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new one. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at the DNS and proxy level, and search mail and web logs for users who have already visited it.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
