PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

fortvlt.com is a suspicious domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-06, less than two weeks after it was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page title reads "Problem loading page", which looks like a browser error message rather than a branded site, and does not match its listing as a suspicious domain.

How the scam works

No specific brand, kit or scheme has been confirmed for this domain, so the risk comes from the reputation signals around it. A newly created domain that security vendors flag and that sits on a spam blocklist is commonly used to send visitors to phishing pages, fake wallet or exchange interfaces, or other fraudulent content. Content on domains like this can change at any time. A visitor who enters a password or seed phrase, or approves a wallet connection, risks losing accounts or funds.

Evidence

On 2026-10-11, six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines. Still, six unrelated vendors agreeing on a domain this young is a meaningful signal. Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Blocklist under the spam category. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have independently tracked it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-24 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown and was flagged by PhishDestroy 12 days later. That short gap fits the pattern of domains set up for quick, disposable use. It resolves to 46.29.26.38 on a network registered as M/S ROBI TRADERS in Bangladesh, while the server itself is located in Finland. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is trustworthy.

What to do

Do not enter credentials, seed phrases or private keys on fortvlt.com, and do not connect a wallet to it. If you typed a password there, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the approvals with a token-approval checker and move your assets to a fresh wallet if you exposed a seed phrase. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at the DNS and proxy level and check logs for any traffic to it since 2026-09-24.
