PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

fcmobilehile.com poses as a free coin generator for EA Sports FC Mobile. Its page title, "FC Mobile Generator - Coins Hilesi Aktif Et" (Turkish for "activate the coins cheat"), and the word "hile" (cheat) in the domain show it is aimed at Turkish-speaking players. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-04 and classifies it as impersonation phishing. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Coin generator pages promise free in-game currency after you enter your player name or account details and press a button to "activate" the cheat. No real coins are delivered, because no outside site can add currency to a game account. These pages typically try to collect game account logins and the linked email, Google or Facebook credentials. They often add a fake "human verification" step that pushes visitors to give a phone number or card details, sign up for paid offers, or install apps. The victim can lose the game account and anything bought in it, along with personal or payment information.

Evidence

On 2026-10-15, five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low detection rate, so most browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently. Among blocklists, it is currently listed only by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-02-11, almost eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. That long gap suggests it was either kept unused for a while or ran unnoticed. It is hosted on Hetzner Online in Germany at 49.12.98.51. The site has a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock shows only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered your FC Mobile login or a linked Google, Facebook or EA account on this page, change those passwords now. Turn on two-factor authentication and check your account for unfamiliar devices or recent changes. If you gave a phone number or card details during a "verification" step, check for premium SMS subscriptions or unexpected charges and contact your carrier or bank. Uninstall any app the page told you to install. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, and warn gaming communities, especially Turkish-language ones, that FC Mobile coin generators are scams.
