The site posed as a token incinerator service, luring victims into connecting their wallets and authorizing transactions that would drain their funds. This type of attack is particularly dangerous because it exploits the legitimate utility of token burning, making it harder for users to recognize the scam.

Our investigation reveals that the domain was created on May 8, 2026, and registered through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED. It resolved to IP address 172.67.136.15 and used a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate (E7) to appear legitimate. VirusTotal shows 0 out of 95 security vendors flagged the site, meaning it had not been widely detected at the time of analysis. However, AlienVault OTX recorded it in one threat intelligence pulse, and it appeared on three security blocklists. The site is now offline, but its short lifespan underscores how quickly such threats can emerge.
