Overview

emtexbinaryworld.cc is an impersonation phishing site whose name suggests an online binary-options or trading platform. The page title shows only the bare domain, with no brand or service named. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online, with its content reachable behind a protection layer.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages like this copy the look and language of a legitimate trading or investment service so visitors treat them as the real thing. Victims are typically pushed to create an account or log in, which hands over email addresses, passwords and sometimes identity details. Trading-themed variants usually move on to requesting crypto deposits, often with promises of fast binary-trading profits. Whatever is typed in or sent goes straight to the operators, and deposited funds cannot be recovered.

Evidence

On 2026-09-21, 7 of 89 VirusTotal engines classed the domain as malicious or phishing: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is a modest count, but the seven flagging vendors are independent of one another. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-10 through Global Domain Group LLC and was caught just one day later. That short gap fits a site built for immediate use rather than an established business. It is hosted on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network in the United States. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, which shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the operator is legitimate.

What to do

If you registered or logged in, change that password immediately along with any account where you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. Treat any identity documents you uploaded as compromised and watch for follow-up phishing. Do not send more money for "withdrawal fees", "taxes" or account upgrades, because these are standard ways to extract a second payment. Report any deposits to your exchange and to local police. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level, and check logs for users who visited it after 2026-09-10.
