PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

dexsportapp.org is an impersonation phishing page that poses as an official resource for Dexsport, the crypto sports betting and casino platform. It calls itself "Dexsport App & Mobile Access Guide | Dexsport Pocket Club", a title written to catch people searching for a Dexsport app or mobile login. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.

How the scam works

Lookalike "app guide" pages sit between a user and the brand they are looking for. They borrow the Dexsport name and present themselves as the place to download the app or access an account, then direct visitors into the operator's own flow instead of the real service. Depending on the version, victims are asked to enter Dexsport login details, connect a crypto wallet, or deposit funds, and the operator captures all of it. Anything signed, typed or sent on such a page should be treated as compromised, whether that is account access, wallet permissions or deposited crypto.

Evidence

On 2026-09-27, VirusTotal showed 6 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That number is modest, so many security tools will still let the page load without a warning. The domain is also listed by MetaMask and SEAL alongside PhishDestroy. The MetaMask listing matters most for crypto users because it can trigger a warning inside the wallet itself. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-04-02, about five and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap that long suggests the domain was set up in advance rather than registered on the day of a campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the front-end address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden. Its certificate from Google Trust Services shows only that the padlock was issued automatically. It does not mean the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you connected a wallet on this site, check and revoke any token approvals or permissions you granted. If any assets are still exposed, move them to a fresh wallet. If you entered Dexsport credentials, change your password right away, turn on two-factor authentication, and review your account for unfamiliar sessions or withdrawals. Do not send further deposits or "verification" payments, and reach Dexsport only through its verified official channels. Defenders should block the domain at the DNS and proxy level and add it to wallet-protection and email filters. Watch for sibling lookalikes that pair the Dexsport name with words like app, mobile or club.
