PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for, or being steered toward, digital banking services. We first flagged it on 2026-09-13. As of 2026-10-19 the domain is still live and its content remains reachable behind a protection layer.

How the scam works

Fake bank sites like this rely on a polished, trustworthy front page that invites visitors to open an account, log in, or move money. The goal is to collect online banking credentials, personal identity details, and sometimes card numbers or one-time codes that let the operators take over real accounts or open fraudulent ones. Some fake banks also persuade victims to deposit funds into the "bank" itself and then invent fees or verification steps before any withdrawal. URL scanning matched the page to a generic banking template rather than one specific real institution, which fits a made-up bank brand built to sound credible.

Evidence

On 2026-09-21, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included BitDefender, ESET, CSIS Security Group, CRDF, alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao, so the detections span both established antivirus firms and specialist phishing feeds. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other analysts have tracked it independently. Among blocklists it is currently carried by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-06-15, about three months before we detected it. A gap like that is common when a fake brand is staged in advance and only promoted later. The site is hosted in the United States on the Aquiryn LLC network.
