Overview

chupwin.com presents itself as "Chupwin: Most Popular Online Crypto Casino Based on Blockchain", but PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling site. It targets crypto holders who want to bet with digital assets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-04. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still responded, but its DNS no longer pointed to active casino content.

How the scam works

The site is built on the Gambler Scam kit, a template for fake casinos dressed up with blockchain and provably-fair branding. Players are pushed to deposit crypto, often with sign-up bonuses or early wins shown on a balance that exists only in the site's database. When a player tries to cash out, the withdrawal stalls or demands a new payment, such as a verification deposit, fee or tax. Every deposit sent to the operators is lost, and paying the extra demands only adds to the loss.

Evidence

On 2026-10-06, 16 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Among them were BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF and CyRadar. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and tagged it with its generic-crypto and crypto-scam brand signatures. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain, so other researchers have tracked it independently of our listing.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-02-25 through Hello Internet Corp. That was about seven months before PhishDestroy detected it, long enough to collect deposits before the first flags appeared. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), so the visible address belongs to Cloudflare's network and the real origin server stays hidden.

What to do

If you deposited funds at chupwin.com, stop sending money and do not pay any withdrawal, unlocking or tax fee. Those payments will not release a balance. Save your account details, transaction hashes and any chat logs, then report the theft to the exchange you sent funds from and to your local police or cybercrime unit. Be wary of anyone offering to recover your crypto for an upfront fee, since recovery scams often target casino victims. If you reused a password on the site, change it elsewhere. Security teams should block the domain and report it to Cloudflare's abuse channel.
