aculoxeequity.com is an impersonation phishing site. Its "equity" name was built to pass as a legitimate financial or investment brand and catch people who believed they were dealing with the real company. PhishDestroy flagged it on 2026-09-13, one day after registration. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and its DNS was still inactive at the last check on 2026-10-19. The page title read "New Private Tab", a generic browser-style label, while we classified the site as brand impersonation.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites copy the name, look and tone of a trusted service, then ask visitors to log in, register or verify their identity. Anything typed into those forms goes straight to the operators, including email addresses, passwords, personal details and sometimes payment information. With a finance-themed name like this one, the usual follow-up is a fake account dashboard or investment offer that pressures victims into sending money. Stolen credentials are also reused to break into the victim's real accounts.
Evidence
On 2026-09-14, five of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is a low count, but it is typical for a domain only two days old, and the five vendors reached their verdicts independently. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it as part of malicious activity. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through OwnRegistrar, Inc. on 2026-09-12 and was live and detected within roughly a day. It stopped resolving four days after registration. That short, disposable lifecycle is common for phishing operations that rotate through fresh domains. It was hosted on the FranTech Solutions network in Luxembourg. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock said nothing about whether the site was genuine.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the real service and on any other account that uses the same password. Then turn on two-factor authentication. If you shared card or bank details or sent money, contact your bank or payment provider now and ask about blocking or disputing the transactions.
