PhishDestroy threat report
1profitdeal.com is an impersonation phishing site that copies a legitimate service to win visitors' trust. Its name suggests profit offers or deals, a common lure aimed at people looking for returns or bargains online. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-15. It has been offline since 2026-09-26 and was still unreachable on 2026-10-19.
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and branding of a service the victim already knows. The victim is then asked to log in, verify an account or complete a payment. Anything typed into the fake page goes to the operators: passwords, personal details, card numbers or funds sent for a supposed deal. The last page title recorded for the site was "Just a moment...", a generic loading or browser-check screen rather than branded content, while PhishDestroy classified the site as impersonation phishing.
Twelve of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain in a scan on 2026-09-25. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, a mix of independent commercial and threat-feed sources. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as malware, which affects mail and DNS filtering far beyond browser warnings. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently of PhishDestroy's own blocklist entry.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-01-09, about eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap that long can mean the domain sat unused for months, or that it ran quietly before it drew attention. The site sat behind Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server from visitors and investigators. It went dark roughly eleven days after first detection.
If you entered a password on 1profitdeal.com, change it at once on the real service and anywhere else you reuse it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you gave card or bank details or sent money for a deal, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute the charge and block further transactions. Watch for follow-up emails or calls that use the details you submitted. Defenders should block the domain at DNS, proxy and mail gateways and search logs for past visits from their networks. They can also use the Spamhaus DBL listing to catch related phishing emails.
