xn--bspl-o34a.ph is an impersonation phishing page on the Philippines country-code domain. The xn-- prefix marks an internationalized domain name, which means a non-Latin character is mixed into a short name. In an address bar it can resemble a familiar brand while being a different domain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and name of a trusted service so that visitors believe they are on the real site. The visitor is then asked to sign in, verify an account or confirm a payment, and whatever they type goes straight to the operators. This page carries the title "Redirecting...", which suggests it is a waypoint that forwards visitors to the next stage. The title alone shows only a redirect notice, while PhishDestroy classifies the domain as impersonation phishing. Victims typically lose account credentials, one-time codes and any personal or financial details they enter.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, VirusTotal showed 4 of 91 engines flagging the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many browsers and security tools may still let the page load without a warning. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. Among the blocklists covered here, only PhishDestroy currently lists it.
Infrastructure
The site resolves to 45.79.222.138 on Akamai Connected Cloud in the United States. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate (issuer YE1), so visitors see a padlock and an HTTPS connection. That only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site or whether it is safe. Pairing a lookalike internationalized name with ordinary cloud hosting and a valid certificate is a low-cost way to make a fake page look routine.
What to do
If you opened this domain and entered a password, change it right away on the genuine service. Do the same on any other account that uses that password. Turn on app-based or hardware two-factor authentication, and sign out of all sessions from the real account settings. If you entered card or banking details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any charges. Defenders should block the domain and 45.79.222.138, search proxy and DNS logs for visits since 2026-09-25, and warn users that internationalized lookalike domains can appear legitimate.
