The recorded page title reads “火币 | HTX官网 | 火币官网下载 | Huobi交易所app下载”, matching that claim. The domain was first seen by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-23 and returned an HTTP 200 response on that date. The assessment cited brand impersonation and a malicious download as the primary risk signals.

How the scam works

In a typical fake‑exchange scenario, attackers register a look‑alike domain, copy branding and language from the real service, and offer a downloadable client that is actually malware or a phishing front‑end. Victims are enticed to install the app, where it can capture login credentials, private keys, or approve unauthorized transactions. The scheme relies on the trust associated with the well‑known brand to lure users into installing malicious software.

How do phishing scams typically work?
