usdc665.com is an impersonation phishing site that puts the USDC stablecoin name in its domain to win the trust of crypto users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, and its content was still blocked at the provider level when last checked on 2026-10-19. The page carried the title "onkeyon", which does not mention USDC, but we classified the site as impersonation.
How the scam works
Sites that borrow the USDC name usually pose as an official stablecoin service, a yield or rewards program, or a USDC trading desk. The visitor is pushed to deposit USDC, connect a wallet and sign a transaction, or type in a recovery phrase to "verify" or "claim" a balance. Each of these hands control to the operator. Deposits go straight to an attacker address, signed approvals let the attacker move tokens later, and a recovery phrase gives away the whole wallet. Stablecoin transfers are final, so anything sent is very hard to get back.
Evidence
Few vendors have flagged this domain. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed 2 of 92 engines marking it malicious, from LevelBlue and SOCRadar. It appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently. Among blocklists, it is listed by PhishDestroy. The low engine count reflects how new and short-lived the site was, not a clean result.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-11-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., about eleven months before it surfaced as a phishing page. Holding a domain that long before use is a common way to get past filters that distrust newly registered names. The site sat behind Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada, which hides the real origin server. The numeric suffix in usdc665.com suggests it may be one of a series of similar USDC-themed names.
What to do
If you sent USDC or other tokens to this site, stop making further payments. Ignore any later "unlock" or "verification" fee, record the transaction hashes and report them to the exchange or wallet provider involved. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals granted during that session with an approval-checker tool. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move your remaining assets to a new wallet created from a fresh phrase. Defenders should block usdc665.com and watch for lookalike domains that pair "usdc" with numeric suffixes.
