PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

The domain uphold-bamboohr.com hosts an impersonation phishing page that copies the look and feel of the legitimate Uphold platform. It is aimed at Uphold users who may be looking to join or log in. PhishDestroy first recorded the site on 2026-10-18. As of the last check on 2026-10-19 the site remains alive, though its DNS resolution is currently inactive.

How the scam works

The page is titled "Uphold - Join Us!" and asks visitors to provide their Uphold login credentials. By submitting this information, victims hand over usernames, passwords, and possibly two‑factor codes to attackers who can then access the real Uphold accounts. The stolen credentials enable fraudsters to move funds, change account settings, or use the accounts for further scams.
