PhishDestroy threat report
trmlabscoins.com is an impersonation phishing page whose domain borrows the name of TRM Labs, a blockchain intelligence firm. The page calls itself "Trmlabcoins", a near-copy of that name with a coin twist aimed at cryptocurrency holders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. On 2026-10-19 the site still registered as alive, but its DNS was no longer serving content, so it could return at any time.
Impersonation sites like this borrow the credibility of a known crypto brand so visitors drop their guard. A name tied to blockchain analytics and compliance adds false authority to offers such as fund recovery, token services or account checks. Victims are typically pushed to log in, submit personal details, send crypto or connect a wallet. Anything entered or sent goes straight to the operators, and crypto transfers cannot be reversed.
Ten of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-06, including BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. That is a modest count, but it is backed by stronger signals. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance block it alongside PhishDestroy. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, so multiple research teams have tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through GoDaddy on 2026-10-03, just three days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains launched right after purchase. It is hosted on the Dimension Network & Communication Limited network in Hong Kong. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a browser padlock, which proves only encryption, not legitimacy.
If you entered a password or login details on this site, change them wherever they are reused and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals granted during the visit with a reputable approval checker. Move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you typed in a seed phrase. Do not pay anyone who later offers to recover lost funds, because follow-up recovery scams are common. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for lookalike TRM Labs domains registered in the same window.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
