spin-coins.com presents itself as "Spin-coins: Most Popular Online Crypto Casino Based on Blockchain". PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling site aimed at crypto holders looking for blockchain-based betting. We first detected it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its casino content.

How the scam works

The site is built on a kit we track as Gambler Scam, a template for fake casinos. Sites like this show slick games, inflated jackpots and generous sign-up bonuses, then ask players to fund their accounts by sending crypto to a deposit address. Winnings appear on screen but cannot be withdrawn. Players are told to pay extra "verification", "tax" or "unlock" fees first, and each payment is simply kept. Everything a victim deposits or pays in fees is lost, and the balance shown on the site was never real.

Evidence

On 2026-09-13, 17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, Ermes, ESET and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. That is a strong consensus for a site that otherwise looks like an ordinary casino. urlscan.io rated it malicious and matched it to its generic crypto and crypto scam signatures. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing. MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-05 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, about four months before we detected it. That gap left time to build out the casino front and attract players. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the IP geolocated to Canada. Because Cloudflare works as a proxy, the real origin server is hidden from public view.

What to do

Do not deposit anything, and do not pay any fee that is presented as the way to release your winnings. Paying more will not unlock a withdrawal. If you already sent crypto, keep the transaction hashes, deposit addresses and any chat or support messages. Report the loss to your local police cybercrime unit, and to the exchange you sent funds from in case it can flag the receiving addresses. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those services. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to user-facing crypto safety warnings.
