PhishDestroy threat report
skinp0r.com is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself under the title "Skinport", the name of a popular marketplace for trading game skins. The domain swaps the final letters of the real brand for "p0r", a misspelling that is easy to miss in a link. It targets skin traders who expect to log in, buy or sell items. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. The site has been offline since 2026-09-13 and was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.
Fake skin marketplaces usually copy the real storefront and push the visitor toward a sign-in step. That step is often a counterfeit platform login window that captures the username, password and one-time authentication code. With those details the operators can take over the account, trade away the inventory and change recovery settings. Some copies also ask for deposits or card details on the cloned checkout. Anything entered there should be treated as compromised.
Eight of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-13: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a modest count. The vendors are independent of each other, and their flags agree with the brand misspelling and the copied page title. The domain is also listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists in addition to PhishDestroy, so wallet users and security teams have separate grounds to block it.
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-01-07, about eight months before it was detected. Domains are often registered early and left unused until a campaign starts. The site sat behind Cloudflare, with the serving address located in Canada, so the real origin server is hidden. Its Google Trust Services certificate only means visitors saw a padlock, which says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you logged in through this page, change the password of the account you used right away. Then end all active sessions, re-secure your two-factor authentication and check your trade history and pending offers for changes you did not make. If you entered card or payment details, contact your bank and dispute any unexpected charges. Reach the real marketplace only by typing its address yourself or from a saved bookmark. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar character-swap spellings of the Skinport name.
