PhishDestroy threat report
scanfn.com is an impersonation phishing page that copies the look of a legitimate service so visitors trust it with sensitive information. Its name follows the "-scan" pattern familiar to crypto users, and the page presents itself only with the title "Loading", which reveals no brand. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. When rechecked on 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving live content.
Impersonation sites like this borrow a familiar name or interface, then ask the visitor to log in, verify an account, or connect and confirm a wallet. Whatever is entered or signed goes to the operators, not the real service. Depending on what the page requests, victims can lose account credentials, a recovery phrase, or wallet funds through a malicious signature. The bare "Loading" title shows a placeholder rather than a branded page, while our classification is based on the site's impersonation behaviour.
Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-10: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors, so the verdict does not rest on a single source. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses. The PhishDestroy blocklist also carries it.
The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2026-08-25, about six weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a site set up ahead of time and put into use later. It resolves to 46.29.26.38, an address announced by a network registered to M/S Robi Traders in Bangladesh but geolocated to Finland. The domain uses a free automated Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
Do not enter anything on scanfn.com. If you typed a password there, change it on the genuine service and on any account that reuses it, then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on a clean device. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and check logs for users who visited it after 2026-10-06.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of scanfn.com · checked Oct 6, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
