PhishDestroy threat report
safepal-com.org is an impersonation phishing page that poses as SafePal, the hardware and mobile crypto wallet brand, and targets people who use or are setting up a SafePal wallet. The domain packs the brand name and "com" into a single hyphenated string so that a quick glance reads it as SafePal's official site. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-13. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still responded, but its phishing content was no longer reachable through active DNS.
Wallet impersonation sites like this one copy the look of the real brand and then ask the visitor to "restore", "verify" or "sync" a wallet. To do that, the page prompts for the 12- or 24-word recovery phrase or the private key. Anyone who types those words gives the operators full control of the wallet, and they can move every asset out without needing the device or PIN. The page title simply repeats the domain name and gives no branding clue, so the lookalike address does most of the deceptive work.
On 2026-09-20, 11 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That count is moderate, but the detections come from several unrelated vendors. Wallet-focused defenders reached the same conclusion: the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists as well as PhishDestroy's. Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist as phishing (DBL_PHISH), and it is referenced in 8 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-21 through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu, only 23 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of a domain bought specifically for a campaign. It is hosted on 45.74.7.27 in the network of Omegatech LTD, located in GB. It carries a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only shows that the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is genuinely SafePal.
If you entered your SafePal recovery phrase or private key on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you also connected the wallet or signed transactions, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker. Get the SafePal app or firmware only from official app stores or the brand's verified channels, and never type a seed phrase into a website. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and add hyphenated "brand-com" lookalikes of SafePal to their monitoring.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

“Dear Team, We are writing to report a phishing domain that takes the name of the cryptocurrency wallet SafePal and is indexed under a heading built to be read as that wallet's. The name safepal-com[.]org is assembled so that it reads as the wallet's genuine address: the word "com" is pulled inside the label and ".org" is left on the end. On 11 September 2026 Bing returned the domain under the page title "SafePal | Secure Crypto Wallet & Asset Management", described as "Manage, swap, and secure”
