PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

paradishill.cc is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a legitimate service to win a visitor's trust and extract access or credentials. Its listing on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it in the crypto ecosystem, where wallet users are the most likely targets. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-08. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and redirecting visitors elsewhere.

How the scam works

The page carries no brand in its title, only the bare domain name, so the impersonation happens on the page itself or at the redirect destination. Schemes of this kind copy the look of a trusted wallet, exchange or project, then ask the visitor to log in, enter a recovery phrase or connect a wallet. Anything typed or signed there goes to the operators. Victims can lose account access or the funds held in a wallet. The live redirect means the landing page can change without the domain changing.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-12: alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That rate is modest, but it comes from a spread of independent vendors. Crypto-focused defenders have also acted. MetaMask and SEAL both block the domain alongside PhishDestroy. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it as well.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2018-05-24, more than eight years before PhishDestroy detected it. This is an aged domain put to use long after registration, not a freshly bought throwaway. It is registered through Above.com Pty Ltd. and resolves to 103.224.182.243 on the Trellian Pty. Limited network in the US. The TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt only means traffic is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately wherever you reuse it and enable app-based two-factor authentication. If you typed in a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke unfamiliar token approvals. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and add it to wallet and browser protection lists. Because the redirect can be repointed at any time, keep monitoring where it leads.

How do phishing scams typically work?

  • 虚假网站 — 与正规网站完全一致的克隆网站，仅域名略有改动
  • 猪的屠宰 — 通过Telegram/WhatsApp/交友软件花数周时间建立信任，随后钱被骗走
  • 退款诈骗 — 诈骗者冒充资金追回机构并索要预付费用。在独立核实服务方之前，切勿分享助记词或付款
