PhishDestroy threat report
onlineview-unlockportalweb.com is a phishing domain that impersonates TD Bank. Its name, pairing "online view" with "unlock portal," is built to look like an account-recovery page for customers who think their access has been restricted. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-08, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was no longer resolving.
Schemes like this usually start with a text or email warning that a TD Bank account is locked or under review, with a link to "unlock" it. The victim lands on a page that copies the bank's look and asks for the online banking username, password and often one-time codes, card details or identity information. Those details go straight to the attackers, who can then log in, move money or open further fraud in the victim's name. When scanned, the page served the default title "Welcome to nginx!" rather than a banking page, while urlscan.io still matched it to the TD Bank brand.
Eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-02, including BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict with TD Bank as the detected brand. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other analysts have tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through Wix.com Ltd. on 2026-08-29, only two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains set up for a single campaign. It was hosted at 87.120.8.55 on the Neterra Ltd. network in Bulgaria. Its certificate came from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock showed only an encrypted connection and said nothing about whether the site was really TD Bank.
If you entered anything on this site, change your TD Bank password right away from the official app or a bookmarked address, and call TD Bank through the number on your card to report it and freeze suspicious activity. Review recent transactions, and be wary of follow-up calls or texts that claim to be the bank's fraud team asking for codes. If you shared card numbers or identity details, ask for a replacement card and consider a credit freeze. Defenders should block the domain and 87.120.8.55, and search mail and proxy logs for earlier "unlock" lures that pointed users here.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
