PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

mrking11075.com is an impersonation phishing page that poses as Cloudflare, the security and content delivery service whose browser checks many internet users see every day. Anyone who lands on it is a target. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-16, four days after it was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still alive and its content remains reachable behind protection.

How the scam works

The page carries the title "Attention Required! | Cloudflare", the same wording Cloudflare uses on its own challenge screens, so it looks familiar and harmless. Fake Cloudflare checks of this kind exploit that trust. A visitor who believes a routine verification is underway may follow instructions they would normally refuse, such as copying and running a command, downloading a file, granting browser permissions or entering credentials. Depending on the payload, the victim can lose control of their device, saved passwords, browser sessions and any accounts reachable from that machine, including crypto wallets.

Evidence

Six of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-16: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Fortinet, PhishFort, Quttera and SOCRadar. Detection is therefore still limited, but it comes from several unrelated vendors, including a phishing specialist. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category (DBL_PHISH), and it appears in eight AlienVault OTX threat pulses. PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-12 through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu. It resolves to 188.114.96.1 on the Cloudflare, Inc. network, geolocated to Canada. Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YE2), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you visited this site, do not follow any instructions it showed. If you ran a command, opened a downloaded file or granted permissions, disconnect the device, run a full scan with reputable security software and consider reinstalling the system. Change passwords for important accounts from a clean device, starting with email, banking and exchange logins, and enable two-factor authentication. Move crypto funds from any wallet used on that machine to a new wallet created on a clean device. Defenders should block mrking11075.com at DNS, proxy and email gateways, search logs for past connections to it, and remind users that a genuine Cloudflare check never asks them to run commands or install software.
