meetamaskklog.godaddysites.com is a credential phishing page built to look like a MetaMask sign-in, titled "Metamask Login" and aimed at people who hold crypto in the MetaMask wallet. The misspelled subdomain, with a doubled "e" and a doubled "k", is the kind of near-miss name that gets past a quick glance. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13, and it was still online serving its phishing content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
MetaMask is a browser extension and mobile app. It has no website where you log in, so any page asking you to "log in to MetaMask" is fraudulent. Pages like this typically ask for the wallet password and, more importantly, the 12- or 24-word secret recovery phrase. Whoever holds that phrase can restore the wallet on their own device and empty it, with no approval prompt and no way to reverse the transfers.

The page is a subdomain on GoDaddy's website-builder platform, which runs on Amazon network infrastructure in the US. The 2013-11-18 registration date belongs to the shared godaddysites.com parent domain, not to this scam. The operator only had to create a free site on the platform. The GoDaddy-issued domain-validated certificate comes with the platform, so the padlock shown in the browser says nothing about whether the page is legitimate.
What to do
If you typed your secret recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a new MetaMask wallet with a fresh phrase on a device you trust, and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you only entered your password, change it, and change it on any other service where you reused it. Going forward, open MetaMask only from the extension or the official app, and never enter your recovery phrase on a website. Defenders should block the full subdomain, report it to GoDaddy for takedown, and add it to mail and web filters while it remains live.
