It was designed to deceive users into believing they were interacting with the legitimate KuCoin platform, posing an elevated risk of credential theft or financial fraud. As of the latest verification, kucoinporv.vip has been taken offline, though it previously operated as an active scam domain.

Technical analysis shows that kucoinporv.vip was flagged by 2 of 95 security vendors on VirusTotal, including Gridinsoft and Trustwave, while appearing on 1 security blocklist (PhishDestroy). The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on February 21, 2026, and resolved to the IP address 159.138.247.173, hosted on HUAWEI CLOUDS (AS136907) in Thailand. No SSL certificate was present, and the observed page title was identical to the domain name. Nameservers were configured as a.share-dns.com and b.share-dns.net.
