How the scam works
Mirror-lure pages exploit a simple habit. People who cannot reach a site directly search for an "official mirror" and trust whatever copy looks right. A lookalike login then captures the username, password and any one-time codes typed into it. That gives the operator control of the real account and any balance held there, and it can send deposit instructions that lead straight to the attacker. The page title advertises darknet market mirrors under the Kraken name, and PhishDestroy classifies the site as an impersonation of that brand.
Evidence
On 2026-10-07, VirusTotal showed 12 of 92 engines flagging the domain. They include ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-phishing group Chong Lua Dao. Several of these are major endpoint vendors, so users of their products are likely to get a warning before the page loads. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently. PhishDestroy is currently the only blocklist listing it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2026-01-25, about eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. That long gap suggests it may have operated or rotated quietly for some time. Traffic runs through Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada. That address belongs to Cloudflare's proxy layer, so the actual origin server stays hidden behind it.
What to do
If you typed credentials into this page, change that password immediately and update any other site where you reused it. Reset two-factor authentication on the real account, then check its login history and withdrawal settings for changes you did not make. Do not send funds to any address or "verification" deposit shown on this page, because anything sent there cannot be recovered. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for similar onion-style labels on .cc and other cheap TLDs.
