PhishDestroy threat report
home.koesux.com was an impersonation phishing page aimed at cryptocurrency users. Scanners tagged it as a crypto scam, though no single named brand was identified. PhishDestroy first caught it on 2026-09-29. The site has been dead since 2026-10-17, its DNS no longer resolves, and it was still down when rechecked on 2026-10-19.
Crypto impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted wallet, exchange or project so visitors believe they are on a legitimate service. The victim is then steered into a step that hands control to the attacker. That might be typing a recovery phrase or private key, logging in with real credentials, connecting a wallet and signing a transaction, or sending a deposit that never comes back. Whatever is entered or approved goes straight to the operators. The page title showed only an ellipsis, so it gave visitors no visible hint of the brand being imitated.
On 2026-10-01, 16 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include established security vendors such as BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet and G-Data, alongside alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. Agreement across that many independent engines makes a misclassification unlikely. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and labelled the content a crypto scam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-05-30 through Fewmoretaps OU, trading as Trustname.com. That was about four months before it surfaced as a phishing page, a gap consistent with domains held in reserve before being put to use. It was hosted at 62.60.226.245 on the FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED network in Germany. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gave the page a browser padlock, which proves nothing about who runs a site. The use of a subdomain also let the operators present a generic-looking address rather than a branded one.
If you typed a recovery phrase or private key here, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals for that address with a reputable approval checker. If you reused a password on this page, change it everywhere it was used and enable app-based 2FA. Report any losses to your exchange and to the police, and be wary of anyone offering to recover the funds. Defenders should block the domain and the hosting IP and check logs for visits from 2026-09-29 onward.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
