PhishDestroy threat report
fortqz.com is a suspicious domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its only visible label is a generic "Loading" page title, so it shows no brand or service it claims to be. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-06, one week after registration. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.
PhishDestroy has not yet assigned a specific scheme to this domain, and the bare "Loading" title does not reveal what the page eventually shows. A placeholder title like this means the visible page gives visitors nothing to judge it by. The risk the evidence points to is a newly created site that a dozen security engines and a spam-domain list already distrust. Anything typed into it, such as logins, seed phrases or payment details, or any wallet connection or signature it requests, should be treated as exposed to unknown operators.
On 2026-10-07, 12 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Named vendors included alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Kaspersky and LevelBlue. That is a meaningful spread of unrelated vendors for a domain barely a week old. Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Block List under the spam category. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to tracked activity.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-29 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. and was on the PhishDestroy blocklist by 2026-10-06. That short gap from registration to detection is typical of throwaway domains set up for a quick campaign. It resolves to 46.29.26.38, an address announced by the Bangladeshi network M/S ROBI TRADERS but located in Finland. The certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, which only shows the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site can be trusted.
Do not enter credentials, recovery phrases or card details on fortqz.com, and do not connect a wallet or sign anything it presents. If you already typed a password there, change it wherever you reuse it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you granted, and move funds to a fresh wallet if you shared a seed phrase. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level and check logs for any internal visits since 2026-09-29.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of fortqz.com · checked Oct 6, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
