How the scam works
Locker value checkers draw players in because rare skins and emotes carry real resale value. To see their supposed rank or locker worth, visitors are asked to sign in, which is how sites like this typically collect account credentials or login codes. A hijacked Fortnite account can be stripped of its cosmetics, resold, or used for purchases with saved payment methods, and the original owner is often locked out.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, VirusTotal showed 6 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many browsers and filters will still load the page without a warning. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the spam category, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. Among public blocklists, PhishDestroy currently carries it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-14 through Global Domain Group LLC, about nine weeks before we detected it. That is a short lifespan typical of throwaway scam sites. It is hosted on the UFO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED network in Great Britain. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you signed in on fort-stat.com, change your Epic Games password right away. Turn on two-factor authentication, sign out of all active sessions, and check your linked platforms and saved payment methods for changes you did not make. Reuse of that password elsewhere means those accounts need new passwords too. Parents should talk with children who play Fortnite, because stats and locker tools are a common lure aimed at them. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, and report it to Epic Games and the hosting provider so it can be taken down.
