PhishDestroy threat report
forntitecheck.cc is an impersonation phishing page. Its name reads like a misspelled "Fortnite check", the kind of typo-based domain built to pass a quick glance. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16. On 2026-10-19 the host still answered, but the domain's DNS was no longer pointing to live content, so it is dormant for now and could be switched back on.
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service people already trust, then ask visitors to log in, verify an account or claim a reward. Anything typed into the fake form goes straight to the operators, who can take over the real account, along with any linked payment methods, stored items or reused passwords. The page title was simply "Loading", a generic placeholder that does not show which brand is being copied, while our classification is based on the impersonation itself.
On 2026-09-26, VirusTotal showed 6 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many security products may still let the page through. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam source, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to malicious activity independently. PhishDestroy also carries it on its blocklist.
The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2026-08-29, just 18 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a throwaway domain set up quickly for a single campaign. It is hosted on the UFO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED network in the United Kingdom. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser padlock, which shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is genuine.
If you entered a username and password here, change that password right away on the real service and on any other site where you reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication, sign out all other sessions, and check your recent logins, linked emails and payment methods for changes you did not make. Treat any follow-up emails or messages about "verification" with suspicion. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search their logs for past visits, and watch for it coming back online, since its DNS has gone quiet but has not been taken down.
