PhishDestroy threat report
falcon-finances.net is a phishing site that impersonates Falcon Finance, the DeFi protocol behind the USDf synthetic dollar. Its page is titled "Falcon Finance — Mint USDf Synthetic Dollar," so it targets stablecoin and DeFi users who arrive expecting the genuine minting interface. The extra "s" in the domain is easy to miss. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-04, and the site was still online serving its content as of 2026-10-19.
Fake minting pages like this copy the look of the real protocol and invite the visitor to connect a wallet to mint USDf. The prompts that follow are typically token approvals or signatures that grant the attacker's contract permission to move the victim's assets, rather than a real mint. A single signed approval can let stablecoins and other tokens be pulled from the wallet later, without any further action from the owner. Victims usually lose whatever tokens they approved, and the loss is irreversible on-chain.
When VirusTotal last checked the domain on 2026-09-14, 15 of 89 engines flagged it as malicious. The detections came from BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao. Wallet-focused blocklists agree: MetaMask and SEAL list it alongside PhishDestroy, so many MetaMask users should see a warning before connecting. Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as a phishing domain, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-04-28 through Fewmoretaps OU (Trustname.com), roughly four months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap like that suggests it was registered ahead of time rather than spun up on the day of a campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare, geolocated to Canada, which hides the actual origin server from visitors. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the padlock icon, which proves nothing about who runs the site.
If you connected a wallet on this site, open a token-approval manager right away and revoke any allowances you granted there. Then move the remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and empty it immediately. Reach Falcon Finance only through bookmarks or its official channels, and check the spelling of the domain before you connect. Security teams should block falcon-finances.net at DNS and proxy level, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar for takedown.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
