PhishDestroy threat report
efrgth.com is a fraudulent storefront whose page title spells out TEMU in small superscript letters. It borrows the name of the well-known discount marketplace to catch shoppers chasing low prices. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16, and the site was still online and serving its shop content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake shops like this copy the look of a trusted retailer and list popular products at prices well below normal. They often add countdown timers or limited-stock notices to rush buyers through checkout. The victim enters a delivery address, phone number and payment card details, then pays for an order that either never ships or is replaced with a worthless item. The card data can then be reused for further fraudulent charges, and the personal details feed follow-up scam messages.
Six of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain on 2026-10-16: BitDefender, CRDF, Emsisoft, Fortinet, G-Data and Netcraft. That count is modest, but it came within two days of registration from vendors with very different detection methods. Google Safe Browsing lists the site for social engineering, so many browsers will show a red warning page. urlscan.io rated it malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, and the domain is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-10-14 through GMO Internet Group (Onamae.com), only two days before we detected it. That short gap is typical of disposable scam storefronts that are set up quickly and abandoned once they are flagged. The site is hosted on the Netsec Limited network in Hong Kong, far from any official Temu presence. Its padlock comes from a free Let's Encrypt certificate, which only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
If you paid on efrgth.com, call your card issuer now. Ask them to block the card, dispute the charge as merchandise fraud and send a replacement. Watch your statements for small test transactions, and treat any texts or emails about your "order" or "delivery problems" as phishing. If you reused a password you created there, change it on every other account where you use it. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP at the web proxy and DNS level. They can also watch for newly registered lookalike shops that display Temu-styled titles.
