How the scam works
Fake crypto casinos borrow the language of real decentralized gambling, such as "provable trust", provably fair games and instant on-chain payouts, to make a fresh domain look established. Victims are asked to deposit crypto or connect a wallet to play. Deposits sent to the operator's address cannot be reversed, and withdrawals tend to stall behind extra fees or verification steps. A wallet connection can also be abused to request signatures or token approvals that let the operator move funds without further consent. urlscan.io tagged the page with generic crypto-scam brand markers, which fits a templated lure rather than a single copied site.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 18 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. Detections from that many major vendors on a two-month-old domain make a false positive unlikely. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, and the domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-26 through Fewmoretaps OU (Trustname.com), 41 days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of scam sites that go live soon after registration. The site sits behind Cloudflare in the US, which hides the real origin server. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not deposit anything on dexuwo.com, and do not pay "fees" to unlock a balance. That money will not come back. If you connected a wallet, use a token-approval checker to revoke any permissions granted to unfamiliar contracts. If you signed anything you did not understand, move your remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Report any losses to your local cybercrime authority and to the exchange you sent funds from. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for lookalike gambling domains from the same template.
