PhishDestroy threat report
datingtalky.com is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself under the title "Quasar App". Its listing on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it among threats aimed at crypto wallet users. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-23. The site has been offline since 2026-10-01 and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19. The dating-themed domain name and the generic "Quasar App" title do not point to a specific brand, but we classified the page as impersonation phishing.
Impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted app or service so visitors treat them as genuine. They then ask for something valuable, such as a login, a wallet recovery phrase, or a wallet connection that requests signing permissions. Whatever the visitor enters or approves goes straight to the operators. With a wallet, that can mean the operators take control of the wallet or move tokens out of it, and those transfers cannot be reversed.
On 2026-09-25, eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a modest share of engines, but it includes several major vendors acting independently of each other. urlscan.io gave a malicious verdict. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and it is referenced in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through Cloudflare, Inc. on 2026-09-20, just three days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap points to an operation built for quick, short-lived use. The site was hosted in Hong Kong on Alibaba (US) Technology's network. It went offline about a week after detection.
If you entered a password, seed phrase or private key on this site, treat that wallet or account as compromised. Move any remaining funds to a newly created wallet and change the password on the affected account. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals or permissions granted during that session. Never re-enter a recovery phrase on any site that asks for it. Defenders should block the domain and the hosting IP in web and DNS filters, then search proxy logs from 2026-09-20 onward for internal visits.
