PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

cysyonetim.com is an impersonation phishing page that greets visitors with the Turkish title "Anasayfa - CYS Yönetim" ("Homepage - CYS Management"). It is built to pass as a legitimate Turkish business or management portal. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-10, and it was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19. The page title shows an ordinary corporate homepage, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow the name and look of a real organization so that visitors lower their guard. They then lead victims to a login prompt, contact form or payment request that sends whatever is typed to the operators. Here, the Turkish homepage branding is the lure. Someone expecting to deal with CYS Yönetim may hand over account passwords, identity details or payment information. Those can then be used for account takeover, fraud or resale.

Evidence

On 2026-10-12, 11 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The named vendors include BitDefender, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai, ADMINUSLabs, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam project Chong Lua Dao. This is not a sweeping consensus, but it is broad enough that several independent detection pipelines reached the same conclusion. The domain also appears in 34 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows it is already circulating in shared threat-intelligence feeds. Among the blocklists covered here, PhishDestroy currently lists it.

Infrastructure

The domain is old. It was registered on 2019-01-15, more than seven years before PhishDestroy detected phishing on it. That history gives it a credibility that freshly registered scam domains lack. The whole setup is local to Turkey: Nics Telekomunikasyon A.S. is the registrar, and the site is hosted on the CIZGI Telekomunikasyon network in TR. The site's padlock comes from a standard Sectigo domain-validation certificate. That only confirms who controls the domain, so the padlock says nothing about whether the site is honest.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it at once on every service where you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you submitted card or bank details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any charges. Watch for follow-up calls or messages that cite details you typed, because phishers often reuse stolen data for a second round of fraud. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search mail and web logs for users who reached it. Teams should also alert any staff who deal with Turkish suppliers or management services.
