The domain chopwex.com was a generic phishing site posing as a cryptocurrency-based online casino, specifically operating as a 'Gambler Scam' phishing kit. It did not impersonate a known brand but targeted users with fraudulent crypto gambling offers to steal funds or credentials. As of the latest verification, chopwex.com has been taken offline, though it previously exhibited elevated risk indicators.

Technical analysis of chopwex.com revealed limited but notable detection: 3 of 95 VirusTotal security vendors flagged the domain, including ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, and Fortinet. The domain was registered on August 27, 2025, through Web Commerce Communications Limited and resolved to the IP address 172.67.207.11, hosted on Cloudflare's network (AS13335) in the US.
