PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

This site is a phishing page that impersonates Trezor. It is built on a Typedream subdomain and titled "Trézór Bridge® | Introducing the New Trézór App". It targets owners of Trezor hardware wallets who are looking for the Bridge connector or the newer desktop app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-30. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content was reachable through a redirect.

How the scam works

Trezor Bridge is a real piece of Trezor software, so people setting up or updating their device may search for it and trust a page that claims to be an official download or help portal. Pages like this usually push victims to type in their 12- or 24-word recovery seed to "restore" or "update" the wallet, or to install a fake app that does the same. Anyone holding the seed can rebuild the wallet on their own device and drain every account, and the hardware wallet offers no protection once the seed is gone. The accented spelling "Trézór" in the page title is not how the genuine brand writes its name.

Evidence

On 2026-09-10, VirusTotal showed 17 of 89 security engines flagging the site. They include ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Emsisoft, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-phishing group Chong Lua Dao. That is solid agreement among independent vendors for a page on a shared builder platform. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Trezor branding on it. The site is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The operator did not register a lookalike domain. The page sits on a free Typedream site-builder subdomain, which takes minutes to create and borrows the platform's reputation. Traffic is served through Cloudflare, Inc. from an address located in Canada (CA). Its TLS certificate from Google Trust Services shows a padlock in the browser, and that padlock says nothing about whether the page is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered your recovery seed on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh seed on your Trezor and move any remaining funds there right away. If you downloaded software from the site, uninstall it, scan the computer, and get Trezor Suite only through Trezor's official channels. Trezor will never ask you to type your seed into a website. Defenders should block this hostname, watch for other Typedream pages using Trezor branding, and report the page to Typedream for removal.
