This domain, binance-as.com, was set up to trick people into thinking they are visiting the real Binance exchange. It mimics the official Binance website with a convincing Chinese-language page title promising secure trading and a leading crypto platform. The goal is almost certainly to steal login credentials or private keys, leading to theft of cryptocurrency funds. Such brand impersonation attacks are common and dangerous because they look legitimate at first glance.

PhishDestroy's investigation uncovered several red flags that confirm this is a malicious site. VirusTotal flagged it with 12 out of 95 security vendors detecting it as harmful, and it appears on one security blocklist. The domain was created on May 11, 2026, which is very recent, and it was registered through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, a registrar not typically used by legitimate financial services. The site resolves to IP 188.114.96.3 and uses a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, which only guarantees encryption, not legitimacy. Fortunately, the domain has been taken offline, but it may reappear under a different name.
