PhishDestroy threat report
0856712.cc is a numeric .cc domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. PhishDestroy first recorded it on 2026-08-10. Its name does not point to any brand or service, and no impersonated target has been identified. The site went offline on 2026-09-13, and its DNS was still inactive when it was last checked on 2026-10-19.
No specific scheme has been confirmed for this domain. The available signals point to phishing, which means a page built to get visitors to hand over something valuable, such as login credentials, personal details or payment information. Throwaway numeric domains like this one are cheap to register and easy to abandon. That makes them common in short-lived campaigns spread through links in messages, ads or social posts. Anyone who reached the site through an unsolicited link should treat whatever they entered there as exposed.
Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. That is an independent judgement from one of the most widely used reputation feeds. On VirusTotal, 5 of 89 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-13: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, PhishFort and SOCRadar. This is a low share of engines. However, PhishFort specialises in phishing takedowns and agrees with the Spamhaus verdict. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity.
Very little of the setup remains visible because the domain no longer resolves. It went dark on 2026-09-13, about a month after PhishDestroy first saw it. That short lifespan fits disposable phishing infrastructure. The digit-only name under the .cc extension carries no branding of its own, so it is easy to rotate for a replacement.
If you typed a password into a form on this site, change it immediately, along with any other account that uses the same password. Enable two-factor authentication on those accounts. If you entered card or bank details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Be wary of follow-up messages that reference your visit. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, and search their logs for connections between 2026-08-10 and 2026-09-13 to find users who may have been exposed.
